If you’ve ever wandered into the room and heard the words “hydrate or diedrate,” you’ve already met Abby, our compassionate, funny, and always-intentional Youth Director. Before becoming director, Abby was a leader in youth ministry for three years, which means she’s survived countless late nights, game nights, and deep theological debates that somehow begin with “so, like, imagine if Jesus had an iPhone.”
Known for her trusty Focus Llama mascot and her uncanny ability to stay fluent in Gen Alpha slang (“Clock It, Period, and Tea’”), Abby keeps our youth group laughing, learning, and fully engaged, whether she’s leading a Bible study, planning the next big event, or reminding everyone that “if you shenan once, you gonna shenana again.”
But beneath the humor and gen alpha slang, Abby’s heart beats for discipleship. Inspired by the impact of a mentor who once guided her own walk with Christ, Abby pours that same intentional love into every student she meets. She models what it means to own your faith, grow in your relationship with the Lord, and walk with authenticity. Her goal isn’t just to lead the next generation, it’s to remind them they’re seen, loved, and called to something greater.
